ATFest, Chester’s first Active Travel Festival took place on Saturday 18 June 2023. Several hundred people came along to find out how to use Active Travel options (walking, scooting, wheeling) to get into and through Chester.
Cheshire West and Chester road safety team delivered a close pass awareness session raising awareness of the new Highway code rules to keep everyone safe on the road.
Visitors could try Ginger eScooters, watch stunt bike displays, get their bike checked by Dr Bike, try eBikes and adapted mobility bikes, and visit exhibitors as diverse as Cheshire Police and Stagecoach, along with entertainment from local radio station Dee 106.3.
