On Tuesday 1 August Safer Roads Greater Manchester (SRGM) are hosting their second Safer Driver Seminar at The Village Hotel (Pamir Drive, Ashton-Under-Lyne, OL7 0LY). The seminar will start at 10am with registration from 9.30 and expected finish time of 1pm. A free lunch will also be provided for attendees.

The seminar is an opportunity for people aged 60 and over to engage with presentations on a series of road safety and wellbeing related topics.  

Alongside offering safety advice to support people to drive safer, there will also be presentations from the Emergency Services, National Highways and TfGM promoting services for those drivers who are considering alternative ways to travel.

The seminar will also be an opportunity for individuals to sign-up for the free Safer Driving for Longer courses where the attendee will be involved in a 2-hour classroom-based discussion then a 2-hour driving on-road coaching session. The Safer Driving for Longer courses aim to boost driving confidence in experienced drivers.
