Engage Membership Terms and Conditions

• Engage membership is free to join for Approved Driving Instructors registered in Merseyside, Greater Manchester and Cheshire West and Chester.
• Engage membership is exclusive to Driving Instructors delivering in Cheshire, Merseyside and Greater Manchester.
• Engage branded resources are strictly for the use of engage members, who have successfully completed the mandatory ‘engage ADI online training course’. If membership is cancelled, the use of any engage branded materials is not permitted.

Membership benefits

• Access to bespoke engage branded training resources to use with learners.
• Exclusive free or discounted training in road safety and industry associated topics for Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
• Invitations to regular partnership meetings and events, to network and access support and advice.
• Access to members area of the engage website.
• * Listing on the engage website is subject to members actively delivering the learning modules, and participation in scheme training events.  If membership is cancelled the listing will be deleted.

Your data and how we use it

• • The engage initiative is administered by Wirral Council, Cheshire West & Chester Council and Safer Roads Greater Manchester.

  • To join Engage, we ask you to submit details connected to your business via our web page (engagedriving.co.uk)

    1. 1. Full name
       2. Business email address for members of the public to contact you and we will also use this in relation to your engage membership
       3. Business postal address we will only use this to send you your engage resources, this is not published publicly.
       4. Business contact numbers for members of the public to contact you, we will also use the telephone number if we need to make contact with you
       5. ADI badge Number: for verification that you are a registered and Approved Driving Instructor. This is not published publicly.
       6. Driving School Name this will be used on the ‘find the instructor’ map so members of the public can search for engage ADIs.
       7. We ask you to create a username and password for access to the members area, this is confidential and we will not have access to this information
       8. Social media accounts connected to your business, if applicable. This will allow members of the public to visit your social media accounts. We will also request to follow you on social media via the engage social media accounts.
       9. Website connected to your business, if applicable. This will allow members of the public to visit your website
  • The following details will be used to advertise your business on the engage website for the duration of your membership, subject to conditions*.
    1. Your Business Name
    2. The Local Authority Area where you live
    3. Your business contact telephone number
    4. Your business email address
    5. Your business website address
    6. If you do not wish to be added to the ‘find an instructor’ page, please email info@engagedriving.co.uk

  •     If you wish to leave the scheme this can be done via the members area on the engage website, alternatively you can email info@engagedriving.co.uk with your name and contact details.

  • Engage Facebook page - you can request to join or unsubscribe at any time.
  • Engage What’s App group - you can request to join or leave the group at any time.
  • We will not use your details for any other purpose or share with any third parties.
